The queen of the pickleball court is headed to Asia.
Anna Leigh Waters‘ name just dropped into the MB Hanoi Cup 2026 lineup and she’s set to make waves. The most dominant player in the history of the sport is making her Asian debut, and the pickleball hotbed of Vietnam is waiting.
Waters may be just 19 years old but she’s going on GOAT.
World No.1 across all three events. Over 190 gold medals. The certified triple-crown queen has made clean sweeps at 41 PPA Tour stops and counting. The numbers are stacked in the wins column, but the reach of Anna Leigh Waters also goes beyond the court.

The teenager has become a cultural phenom. Waters’ face has lit up the screens in Times Square. Jimmy Fallon gave her a shoutout on The Tonight Show. She played a dink rally against Pat McAfee live on ESPN. In 2026, she became the first pickleball player to sign with Nike. Now Waters is bringing the show to Asia.
And she’s not coming light either, stepping out for Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles with maximum firepower to back her up. In Women’s Doubles, she partners with world No.2 Anna Bright — two of the best to ever do it, same side of the net. Then Mixed Doubles brings the show-stopping combo. Fans will get to see Waters alongside Ben Johns, the sport’s most dominant pairing, chasing more unprecedented heights together, but this time on Asian soil.
