History arrives in Hong Kong, China. From October 19–25, Kai Tak Arena hosts the first-ever 1500 in Asia — the biggest Pro pickleball tournament the region has ever seen, and the grand finale of the PPA Tour Asia in 2026.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. The world’s best descend on Kai Tak chasing a share of up to US$1.1 million in Pro prize money and payouts — the richest Pro purse in Asian pickleball history — plus 1,500 World Pickleball Ranking points and the last medal of the year. The roaring dragon head, the crowning piece of the 2026 medal set, is only up for grabs here. Win it, complete the set, and write your name into the season’s story. It all comes to a head on Championship Sunday.

1. CHOOSE THE EVENTS YOU’LL PLAY

We offer Pro events as well as a combination of rating (under 3.5 & 3.5 and above) and age (U18, 19+, 35+,50+) categories in:

  • Men’s and Women’s Singles
  • Mixed Doubles
  • Men’s and Women’s Doubles

 

2. DETERMINE YOUR SKILL LEVEL

We have an events to cater for every skill level. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned Pro, there is an event for you at PPA Tour Asia.

Players are rated on a scale of 2.0-8.0. Amateurs are rated from 2.0-5.0, while professionals are rated 5.0+. Find out more about how ratings work here.

Kai Tak Arena is Hong Kong’s newest stage for world-class sport — a 10,000-seat, state-of-the-art venue at the heart of Kai Tak Sports Park, built on the grounds of the city’s legendary former airport. Planes once landed here. Now the world’s best pickleball players do.

Opened in 2025, the arena was designed for exactly this: big matches, big crowds, and a clear view from every seat. For one week in October, it becomes the biggest pickleball venue Asia has ever seen.
